DuoGuard 350 TS™ Hybrid Anode Corrosion Control System

The DuoGuard 350 TS™ Hybrid Anode™ corrosion control system arrests the corrosion of reinforcing steel re-passivating  the reinforcing  steel and stopping corrosion within 7 days. DuoGuard 350 TS™ Hybrid Anode™ corrosion control system is suitable for use in both chloride rich and carbon effected concrete environments. The DuoGuard 350 TS™ Hybrid Anode™ corrosion control system can be designed to control corrosion for the required service life of asset providing maintenance free, cost effective and measurable corrosion control.

Controlling Corrosion using  DuoGuard™ Hybrid Anode™ System
DuoGuard 350 TS™ Hybrid Anode™ corrosion control System is a hybrid treatment where zinc alloy hybrid anodes are embedded discretely into the concrete structure and in a two stage process are used in an impressed current phase and then converted to a galvanic phase to control corrosion for the structures design life. The DuoGuard 350 TS™ Hybrid Anode™ corrosion control system initially operates under a high current constant voltage power supply to re-passivate corroding reinforcement steel, once corrosion control criteria have been achieved the anode is connected to the steel and continues to control corrosion by way of a galvanic current. Permanent reference electrodes can be installed allowing constant monitoring and confirmation of corrosion control and with no need for permanent power The DuoGuard 350 TS™ Hybrid Anode™ corrosion control system offers maintenance free corrosion control.
